  • Coordinate the activities of designers and promote effective cooperation between all project stakeholders.

  • Liaise with PSCSs, contractors, specialist consultants, and temporary works designers throughout project delivery.

  • Attend design team, client, and site meetings as required to support compliance with health and safety obligations.

  • Prepare, coordinate, and issue Safety Files in accordance with statutory requirements.

  • Monitor and promote compliance with internal quality management and PSDP procedures.

  • Contribute to the ongoing development and continuous improvement of PSDP systems, standards, and best practices.

  • Support the growth and development of PSDP services across the business.

What We're Looking For

  • 5 years' experience in construction, engineering, architecture, or a related design or health & safety discipline.

  • Proven experience undertaking PSDP and/or PSCS responsibilities, with recognised PSDP training completed.

  • Demonstrated experience in design risk management and the coordination of designers under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations.

  • Strong understanding of architectural and engineering drawings, construction methodologies, and site operations.

  • Ability to identify, assess, and communicate design-related hazards and risk mitigation measures throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, report-writing, and IT skills, including proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle for project-related travel.

Qualifications

  • Third-level qualification in relevant Safety, Health & Welfare (e.g. HDip SHWW, CSHWW, Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health, or design/construction equivalent).

  • Design-related qualifications and experience will be considered, provided a suitable Safety, Health & Welfare qualification has been attained.

  • Qualifications in engineering, architecture, surveying, construction management, project management, or health & safety are desirable.
